A Family Heritage of Service Back in the early 1900s, when a person died, the service was conducted at home. And most funeral directors had more than one line of work, such as carpentry, furniture, or cabinet making. It was at this time that Guy Mangano began serving the families of Brooklyn as a full-time funeral director from a storefront office on Union Street.
Over the years, families welcomed the Mangano's caring, compassionate service in their time of need. In the early 1960's the Mangano Family opened Suffolk County's finest funeral home in Deer Park.
Guy's sons, James & Guy Jr. joined their father in the family business. At that time, both sons assumed responsibility for operating the firm. Guy Jr.'s daughter, Barbara, joined the family business in 1969. Barbara's son Sal joined the family business in 2000. The Mangano heritage of service and commitment to the community is available to all the families of Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, and the greater NY metro area.
Over the generations, the commitment to the heritage of Guy Mangano has never changed - providing the utmost in caring, personal service to the families of our area. That's why we continue to be the most preferred funeral establishment in Suffolk County.
