David Charles Fox

David C. Fox of Flanders passed away March 11 at Stonybrook Hospital. He was 81 years old

He was he was born March 30, 1941 at Southampton to George and Flora Fox. He worked at Sears and Roebuck in Riverhead for 31 years. He was an active member of the Flanders Fire Department for the last 57 years and served in the US Army.

He was predeased by his wife Heloise in 2007. He is survived by his children Vaughn, Richard, Robin, and Keith Polchies and Kimberly Hasty; three grandchildren Lauren Polchies, Justine Hasty, and Brooke Jack; siblings Patricia, Thomas, and Robert Fox.

The family will receive visitors from 2:00 to 4:30 and 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. Friday March 17 at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home in Riverhead. Funeral procession will begin at 10am Saturday March 18. Graveside service will follow at Riverhead Cemetery.
