Dorothy E. Mirabito

Dorothy E. Mirabito, 91, of Deer Park, NY, passed away on April 8, 2020.

Funeral Services were held privately for the immediate family. A Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in Wyandanch before settling in Deer Park 59 years ago. She had a strong passion for baseball and was a die hard Yankees fan. She loved playing cards, going out to restaurants, and spending time with her family. She had a love for animals and donated to multiple charities to help save an animals life. She was a very optimistic person who saw the good in everyone. Her smile would light up the whole room and she had the biggest heart. Everyone that met her immediately fell in love with her.

Pre-deceased by her husband Salvatore Mirabito and lifelong friend, Eugenia Shultis.

Surviving is her beloved son, Kevin Mirabito and his wife Yvonne; cherished granddaughter and best friend, Kaitlin. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbors and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
