Georgette Thurber of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on December 12, 2016. She was the age of 91. Loving wife to the Late Kenneth W. Thurber. Cherished Mother to Ruth Smith and Kenneth A. (Alice Nance) Thurber. Adored Grandmother to Travis C. (Susan) Loving great-grandmother to Summer Smith and Hayden Smith. Georgette was a nurse for John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jeffereson for Many years. Family to receive friends at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home, Inc., 406 East Main Street, Riverhead, NY. on Friday December 16, 2016 from 5pm to 7pm. There will be a religious service on Friday at 6pm at the funeral Home. A private burial will be on Saturday December 17, 2016 at 11:00am at Wading River Cemetery.
