Gerald Elie of Middle Island, NY at age 88. Devoted father of Alex C. Elie, Carole M. (Jeffrey) Wilbert, and Claude J. (Sheri Elizabeth Esteban-Elie) Elie. Adored grandfather of 7 grandchildren. 

“Gerald et Jacqueline”. A union so complete that saying their names together sounds more natural than either alone.

Gerald’s desire was to share eternity with his beloved wife by sharing a single urn where they can be reunited in body as well as in spirit.

This picture of them laughing together is how Gerry would want to be remembered. He loved making people laugh and his own laugh was infectious.

His children enjoyed a storybook childhood being raised by such an idyllic role model.

Whether you knew him all of your life or for just a short time, he made an impression and was universally loved.

He’s earned his eternal reward and we celebrate his life by remembering to laugh and by being kind.

He made the lives of those who knew him better for having known him.

Thank you Papa. We will miss you.
