James D. Doroski

James D. Doroski of Laurel died Dec. 26, 2018. He was 74 years old.

Born in Riverhead on Nov. 23, 1944, he was the son of Bruno P. and Anna (Kushierz) Doroski.

He attended Riverhead High School and served in the U.S. Marines from 1962 to 1966. He worked as a dispatcher for the N.Y. State Highway Department.

He loved motorcycles, traveling and being near the water. He was a friend of Bill W.

He is survived by his fiancee Emily Combra, his sister Rose Marie Hubbard, his brother John B. Doroski, many nieces and nephews, and his friend John Houst. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Dominick.

Visitation will be held at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home in Riverhead on Sunday, Dec. 30 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service will be held at the funeral home at 3 p.m.
