James F. Doyle

James Francis (Jimmy) Doyle, age 86, of Deer Park, Long Island died on July 21, 2018 peacefully surrounded by family. James was preceded in death by his beloved wife Eileen, whom he was married to for 55 years.
He is survived by his daughters Donna M. Doyle and Geraldine M. Doyle, sons James F. Doyle (Tina), Brendan W. Doyle and loving grandchildren Jessica (Andrew), James, Dylan, Liam and Owen. His sister Mary Ellen Geelan, brother and sister-in-laws and many nieces and nephews also mourn his passing.
James was preceded in death by his parents John Doyle, Kilkelly, County Mayo and Marie Doyle (nee Walsh), Ballinskelligs, County Kerry, his son William Doyle as well as his brothers Thomas Doyle and John Doyle.
James’ greatest joys were his grandchildren, sports, Irish music, dancing and laughter. He considered it a successful day when he made a stranger laugh. He took pride serving in the U.S. Navy and as a Police Officer in the New York City Police Department.
