Jerzy Gajek passed away at his residence on April 11, 2017 at the age of 80. He was born on October 3, 1936 to Joseph Gajek and Olga Barnicz in Lwow Poland. He was a concert pianist and professor at University of Missouri, in Kansas City. He is survived by his loving wife Joanna Gajek (nee: Wojtal).
