Margaret Erna Areiter

Margaret Erna Areiter, age 95, passed away at Peconic Landing in Greenport on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. She was born on March 25, 1921 in Zophen Germany. She is survived by her daughter Marie Ragona, of Riverhead, NY and her grandchildren Robert, Christopher, Alexander and Gabrielle. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1987 and son Rolf in 1953. Visitation for Margaret will be on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Tuthill - Mangano Funeral Home, Inc., 406 East Main St., Riverhead, NY 11901. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 10:00 am at Tuthill - Mangano Funeral Home. Interment to follow the service in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
