Nickolas A. Aprigliano

Nickolas AJ Aprigliano, of Midlothian, Va., on March 14, 2021 at 91. Devoted husband of 68 years to Rita. Wonderful, supportive father of Eloise Ruiz, Janine Weaver, Nicholas Aprigliano Jr. and Rochelle Aprigliano. Loving ‘Pepop’ of Michael and Eric Ruiz, Gianna, Emily and Joseph Barone, Nicholas III, Andrew and Christopher Aprigliano, Benjamin and Ryan Houghton. Nick for 30 years worked for Allstate Insurance, raising his family in Commack before retiring to Virginia. A survivor of polio, he also beat COVID-19 in January. He graduated from the College of the City New York in 1951. A lifelong chess player and lover of classical music, Nick played piano by ear. The family asks for donations to March of Dimes in his honor in lieu of flowers. Wake at Mangano Funeral Home in Deer Park Friday, March 19, 2-4:30pm and 7-9:30pm. Funeral Mass, Sts. Cyril & Methodius RC Church in Deer Park Saturday.
