Ronald P. Boyd, age 70, of Riverhead, NY, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016 at his residence in Riverhead Landing Community. He was born on August 4, 1945 in Southampton, NY to Henry Boyd and Louise Boyd (nee: Murray). Ronald served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a teacher in the Riverhead School District. He is survived by his loving brothers Wayne Boyd, Craig Boyd and Chris Koch and sister Gail Boyd. Visitation for Ronald will be 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm on Wednesday, 02/10, at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home, Inc., Riverhead. Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Thursday, 02/11, at Goodwill AME Zion Church, Flanders Rd. in Riverhead. Interment to take place on Thursday, following the service, in Calverton National Cemetery.
