William M. Dirocco

William M. DiRocco, age 45, beloved son of Diane (Guglielmo) of Hastings-On-Hudson, NY and the late William J. of Sun City Centre, FL., passed away on Monday, December 9, 2013.

Billy was born September 16, 1968 at Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan. He was raised in Flushing before the family relocated to Lynbrook, NY in 1983. He graduated from Malverne Senior High School in 1986. He resided in Farmingdale, NY at the time of his passing.

Billy enjoyed playing video games, was an avid Giants and Yankee fan, loved listening to Led Zeppelin, Jimmy Hendrix and Pink Floyd, reading graphic novels and books by Stephen King, Brian Keene, and Dean Koontz, and also enjoyed camping and cooking.

Survived by his mother; dozens of aunts, uncles and cousins; former wife Kristin (Angermann) and their only “child” who brought them so much joy, Chica the Chihuahua.

A mass will he held on Saturday, December 14th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Roman Catholic Church, 616 Warburton Ave., Hastings-on-Hudson, NY 10706 (914-478-2822). A reception will immediately follow at The Purple Crayon, 52 Main St., Hastings-on-Hudson, NY 10706 (914-231-9077)
