Adolf Klobetanz, a dedicated family man, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, in West Babylon, New York. Born on February 16, 1937, in Frankfurt, Germany, Adolf's life journey spanned continents and decades, marked by steadfast commitment both to his professional work and to his loved ones.
Adolf proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army, a chapter of his life that spoke to his strong sense of duty and honor. After his military service, he devoted his career to the Glen Cove School District as an electrician, where his skill and dedication contributed to the safe and efficient operation of the educational facilities for many years. His work was characterized by precision, reliability, and a quiet pride, earning him the respect and admiration of colleagues and community members alike.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Adolf’s greatest joys were found in his family. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Nancy, who stood by him through life’s many moments with unwavering support and affection. Adolf is also survived by his children: Joe Rivera (Jen), Katherine Reyes (Frank), Melinda Viola, and Kim Holmes (Jeff). His legacy extends through the blossoming lives of 18 grandchildren, who undoubtedly carry forward his values and spirit, as well as 2 great-grandchildren, symbols of a family deeply rooted and flourishing.
