Alexandria Ugenti, a beloved member of her community and devoted family matriarch, passed away on May 21, 2025, in Port Jefferson, New York. Born on April 5, 1940, in New York City, Alexandria exemplified dedication throughout her life, not only to her family but also to her career as a clerical worker for the Longwood School District.
Alexandria achieved her high school diploma and went on to pave a path of nurturing and support for all those around her. As a passionate mother and grandmother, she took immense pride in watching her family grow. She is survived by her loving husband, Onofrio Ugenti, who, alongside her two daughters, Sheree Eric Ugenti-Jones and Tracee Ugenti, cherished the warmth and kindness she radiated. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren, Brittanee, Amber, and Trevor, as well as her great-grandchildren, Charlie and Nora, who will always remember their grandmother's love, wisdom, and laughter. Alexandria also shared a deep bond with her sister, Patricia Nagy, who, along with the rest of her family, will carry forward the values she instilled in them.
Alexandria was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Wanda Nagy, who laid the foundation for her compassionate spirit.
As the family and friends reflect on the beautiful life Alexandria lived, they will forever hold dear the memories and lessons she imparted. Her gentle heart and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
