Alfred Panarese, a devoted family man, passed away on November 28, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on February 20, 1940, in New York to his parents Alfonse and Margaret, he exemplified commitment and courage throughout his life, both in his profession and as a beloved member of his family.

Alfred's career as a federal air marshal was marked by his unwavering dedication to the safety and security of American air travel. His service not only showcased his skills and professionalism but also underscored his commitment to protecting the public. Prior to this esteemed role, Alfred honorably served in the army, where he laid the groundwork for a life devoted to service and duty.

Beyond his professional achievements, Alfred was a loving husband to Mary C. Panarese and a proud father to his daughters, Laura and Lisa. His family was the cornerstone of his happiness, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Alfred's warmth, integrity, and sense of humor will be remembered fondly by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Alfred's life and legacy during the visitation on December 7, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY 11729. A Mass will be held in his honor on December 8, 2025, at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, starting at 10:15 AM, located at 125 Half Hollow Road, Deer Park, NY 11729.
