Angela V. Montalvo

Angela V. Montalvo, a beloved teacher's assistant and cherished member of her community, passed away on September 11, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on September 22, 1954, in the vibrant Bronx, New York to her parents Edward and Dolores. Angela was a beacon of light in the lives of those who knew her.

Angela devoted her life to nurturing and guiding young minds, embodying the spirit of kindness and patience inherent to teaching. Her passion for education embraced every child she encountered, making a profound impact that rippled through the years. 

Angela is remembered lovingly by her husband, Frank Montalvo, who stood by her side through thick and thin. She is also survived by her son, Nicholas Montalvo, her daughter Yvonne, along with her husband Marc Asencio, and her son Frank Jr., who carry forward her legacy of compassion and resilience. Angela's family expanded with the blessing of grandchildren—Christian, Alyssa, Andrew, and Abigail—who brought her immeasurable joy and pride.

In addition to her immediate family, Angela shared a special bond with her sister Palma and her husband Charles Keinath, as well as her brother Edward Daniel Bart Jr. She took immense joy in being an aunt to Charles Edward and a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews, each relationship fortified by love and appreciation.

Angela's legacy of love, education, and family will continue to resonate in the lives she touched. While she has left this world, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. As we gather to remember Angela, we celebrate a life that was beautifully lived, a heart that was immensely loving, and a soul that remains forever cherished.
