Anita Previti, beloved mother, daughter, and friend, passed away on September 20, 2023. Born on August 13, 1932, in Havana, Cuba, Anita lived a life filled with love and compassion.

Anita was cherished by all who knew her for her lovable nature and caring personality. She had a special way of making everyone around her feel valued and appreciated. Anita's presence brought joy to those lucky enough to be in her company.

Anita's education included earning a high school diploma. While academic achievements were important to her, she believed that kindness and love were the true measures of a person's character.

In her free time, Anita found solace in spending time with her family. Her love knew no bounds, and she treasured every moment shared with them.

Anita is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Previti, who stood by her side through thick and thin. Together, they created a beautiful family that will forever carry forward the love and legacy that Anita has left behind.

Anita was a devoted mother to her children Angela (Ivan) Cerina, Michael Previti, Joann (Peter) Ball, and Lori (Dominick) Zulferino. She showered them with affection and played an integral role in shaping the individuals they have become. She adored her children and devoted herself to their happiness and well-being.

Beyond being a remarkable mother, Anita was an adoring grandmother to Joseph (Melissa) Cerina, John Cerina, Anthony (Christina) Zulferino, Julianna Ball, and Tommy Ball. She took great delight in witnessing their accomplishments and celebrating their milestones. Anita was also blessed with great-grandchildren who brought endless joy into her life: Hunter Cerina, Harlie Cerina, Haylee Cerina, and Tessa Zulferino. Their infectious laughter filled Anita's heart with warmth and happiness.

Anita is also survived by cherished memories shared with other family members and friends. She is predeceased by her father Michael and her mother Anna who held a special place in her heart.

To honor Anita's life, visitation services will be held on September 22nd at the Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home in Deer Park, NY. The first visitation will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM followed by an evening visitation from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A funeral mass will be held at Saint Matthew R.C. Church, 35 North Service Rd., Dix Hills, NY 11746, from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM. These gatherings will provide an opportunity for loved ones to come together, offer support, and reflect on the beautiful memories they shared with Anita.

Anita Previti will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her kindness and warmth touched countless lives, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who were lucky enough to call her a friend or family member. As we bid farewell to Anita, let us celebrate the life she lived and the love she shared. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
