Anthony Benevento, a retired driver for U.S.P.S., passed away on November 30, 2023. Born on September 25, 1941, in New York, New York, Anthony lived a profound life filled with love and kindness.

Anthony's career as a tractor trailer driver spanned many years, and he committed himself to serving the community through his work with U.S.P.S. His strong work ethic and attention to detail made him an invaluable asset to the organization.

Outside of work, Anthony was a family man who adored his wife and children. He found great joy in spending time with his loved ones and treasured every moment shared with them. His grandchild, Alexis, held a special place in his heart and brought immense happiness to his life.

Education played an important role in Anthony's life as well. He obtained his Highschool Diploma, demonstrating his dedication to personal growth and learning.  In addition to his professional accomplishments and educational pursuits, Anthony had a range of hobbies and interests that enriched his life. However, nothing brought him greater joy than being surrounded by his family. He cherished their presence and embraced every opportunity to create lasting memories together.

Anthony will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His kind heart, warm personality, and unwavering love for his family left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.

Anthony is survived by his loving spouse, Valerie Benevento, their son Joseph (Jennifer), their daughter Annette (Nicole), and most importantly, their beloved grandchild Alexis. The memories they shared will forever be cherished as a testament to the beautiful bond they all shared.

During this difficult time, friends and family will gather to pay their respects at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Pk Ave in Deer Park, NY. Visitation will take place on December 4, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

A Mass celebrating Anthony's life will be held on December 5, 2023, at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, located at 125 Half Hollow Rd. in Deer Park, NY. The Mass will begin at 10:15 AM. A burial will follow immediately after at North Babylon Cemetery.

Anthony's memory will live on through the stories and memories shared by his loved ones. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his family find solace in the profound impact he had on their lives.
