Augie Augustine, born on June 12, 1937, in Queens, New York, died on September 2, 2026, in Riverhead, New York.

He will be remembered with love by his wife, Yvonee, and by his children and their families: Linda and Frank, Robert and Kathleen, Barbara and Mario, Kenneth and Elaine, Debra and Pedro, Dianne and Danny, Barbara and Donald, and Thomas. He is also survived by his brother, Richard. Augie was preceded in death by his late sister, Ruth.

The love shared across generations stands as a meaningful tribute to his life. Augie was devoted grandfather to 19 grandchildren and beloved great-grandfather to 13 great-grandchildren. He built his life around family, hard work, and caring for others. His steady spirit, generosity, and quiet wisdom will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be held on September 6, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home, 406 E Main St, Riverhead, New York 11901. A funeral service will take place on September 7, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Boulevard, Calverton, New York 11933-1031.
