Benjamin Silva

Benjamin Silva, of Calverton, New York, passed away on June 20, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on April 10, 1948, in Southampton, NY, Benjamin’s life was marked by quiet resilience, devotion to loved ones, and cherished connections within his family and community.

Benjamin was the beloved son of the late Peter and Loretta Silva, whose values he carried throughout his own journey. From his early years in Southampton, Benjamin maintained a grounded presence, forming meaningful relationships and dedicating himself to those closest to him.

He is survived by his devoted daughter, Tiana Morano, whose affection and admiration for her father carried through the years. He is further remembered by Tiana’s spouse, Louis Morano, as well as his grandchildren, Brandon Morano and Grayson Morano, each of whom held a special place in his heart. 

Services to honor Benjamin Silva’s life will begin with a visitation on June 24, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home, located at 406 E Main St, Riverhead, NY. The funeral service will follow on June 25, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the same location. Immediate interment will take place at Riverhead Cemetery,  ROANOKE AVENUE, RIVERHEAD, NY.
