Bertil H. Gustavsson

Bertil H. Gustavsson, born on September 24, 1936, in Brooklyn, NY, passed away on March 18, 2024, in Florida. He was a loving husband to Nancy Gustavsson and a cherished father to his surviving daughters, Linda Gleason and Susan Eckert.  Grandchildren Ryan and Carina Gleason. Great Grandchildren Lucas and Ariana Gleason. 

A man of integrity and kindness, Bertil will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family and the warmth he shared with all who knew him. His presence brought light and joy into the lives of those around him.

The gathering to honor Bertil's life will take place on April 5, 2024, at the Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home in Deer Park, NY. The event will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00PM at Mangano Family Funeral Home in Deer Park, NY.  At 7:00pm on that night, a prayer service will be held. A ceremony of burial of cremated remains will take place the following day, April 6, 2024, at 11:30am at Pinelawn Memorial Park in East Farmingdale, NY.

Bertil's legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him. May he rest in peace knowing that he was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by his family and friends.
