It is with profound respect and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Carmelo Armenia, who left us on April 26, 2026. Born on April 19, 1960, in Pozzallo Sicily, Carmelo devoted much of his life to the Painter's Union, where his skill, dedication, and unwavering commitment left an indelible mark on his profession and community.

Carmelo's life journey was one of both passion and perseverance, embodying the values of hard work and artistry. His contributions to the Painter’s Union not only showcased his own talent but also uplifted those around him, making the workplace a stronger, more united environment.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Louise, and their cherished children, Vincent and Melissa, who continue to hold his memory close to their hearts. Meanwhile, he is reunited in eternal peace with his parents, Salvatore and Carmela, whose love and guidance shaped the man he became.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitations held at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Pk Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729. The first visitation will be on April 30, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 4:30 PM, with a second visitation from 7:00pm to 9:30pm.

Carmelo’s legacy is etched not only in the strokes of his brushes but also in the lives of those he touched. As we honor his memory, we remember a man whose artistry went beyond painting, reaching into the hearts of his family, friends, and colleagues.
