Carmen C. Sheehy

Carmen C. Sheehy, born on July 16, 1945, in Lima, Peru, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026, in Huntington, NY. She was a devoted banking secretary and made significant contributions to her field throughout her career.

Carmen was a loving and cherished member of her family. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Helen Trotta, along with her sisters-in-law, Margaret, Catherine, and Ann Marie, and brothers-in-law, James (Stella), and Edward (Eva). She is also deeply cherished by many cousins in Peru, and her nephews, Omar and Jose Carlos. Carmen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, the late Eugene "Gino" Sheehy, her dear parents, Jose and Carlotta, and her brother Lucho.

The community will gather to honor Carmen's life at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY, on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a Mass at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, located at 125 Half Hollow Road, Deer Park, NY, commencing at 10:30 AM and concluding at 11:15 AM.  Carmen will be laid to rest following the funeral mass at Saint Charles Cemetery in East Farmingdale, NY.

Carmen's presence will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her loved ones.
