Carol A. Tavitian

Carol A. Tavitian, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on April 13, 2026. Born on December 17, 1950, in Brooklyn, New York to her parents David and Marjorie. Carol led a life of kindness, care, and an enduring commitment to those she loved.

Carol was especially treasured for her devotion to her family. She is survived by her loving husband, John Tavitian; her three children, Khristen, Justin, and Katherine; six grandchildren; Mackenzie, Joseph, Sean, Kaitlyn, Gabriel, and Preston, who brought her immense happiness. Carol is also survived by her sister Nancy, who shared many treasured memories and sons-in-law George and Joseph.

Family, friends, and all who knew Carol are invited to celebrate her life and pay their respects at visitations to be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY 11729. The first visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, followed by a second visitation from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held the following day, Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, 125 Half Hollow Road, Deer Park, NY 11729. A burial is to follow immediately after at Saint Charles Cemetery, East Farmingdale, NY.

Carol A. Tavitian’s legacy of kindness and care will remain in the hearts of all who were privileged to know her. Her life was a testament to the power of love and devotion to family. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all.
