Carole E. Arcoleo

December 24, 1933 — September 19, 2023

Dix Hills, NY

Carole E. Arcoleo, a loving and devoted family person, peacefully passed away on September 19, 2023. She was surrounded by her cherished family and will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Carole was devoted to her loving husband Chris of 65 years until his passing in 2017.

Born on December 24, 1933, in New York, New York, Carole was the daughter of Harold and Evelyn. She grew up in a warm and nurturing environment, which instilled in her the values of love, compassion, and a deep appreciation for family bonds.

Carole was a woman of great character and strength. Her desire to serve her community was an integral part of the woman she was. Sunday school teacher, PTA president, volunteering in hospitals and often fundraising for an important cause. She was truly a woman before her time. In the 70's she hosted young women from Denmark at her home from the organization Up With People, a group that empowers youth to lead change in the world through performing arts and world travel. Always connected to her church, she volunteered along with her husband Chris for many years at the local Mustard Seed and their church near their retirement home in Pt. St. Lucie Florida.

Above all else, Carole found her greatest joy in being a dedicated mother to her children. Susan (Eric) Gmoser, Linda (Tom) Simeti, Christopher (Lori) Arcoleo, and Daniel Arcoleo, were the center of her world. Carole's love knew no bounds as she selflessly devoted herself to their happiness and well-being.

Carole is also survived by her grandchildren; Michelle (Chris) Nolan, Suzanne (Jason) Head, Evelyn (James) Wall, Nicholas Simeti, Dante Simeti, Christopher Arcoleo, Lindsay Arcoleo, Carolyn Arcoleo, and Julianne Arcoleo, and her great-grandchildren; Sarah Nolan, Christopher Nolan, Emily Nolan, Tyler Head, Jordan Head, Wesley Wall, and Owen Wall.

Family was at the heart of everything Carole did. She embraced every opportunity to create lasting memories with her loved ones that will continue to bring comfort and joy in their lives. Her nurturing spirit will always be remembered through the love that radiates within her family.
