Catherine ''Cathy'' Raymond

Catherine "Cathy" Raymond, born on December 26, 1943, in Bronx, NY, passed away on August 22, 2025, in Westhampton, NY. Cathy lived a life dedicated to both her family and her career. She served as a jail cook for the Suffolk County Sheriff's Department in Riverhead, NY, where she was known for her commitment to providing nourishment and care to those in her charge.

Cathy's legacy is carried on by her loving family. She is survived by her two daughters, Samantha Carmody and her husband Mike, and Irene Rose Ebert and her husband Mark. Cathy was a proud grandmother to Jonathan, Joseph, Jacob, Ricky Jr., Brittany, and Amanda, whose lives she touched with warmth and affection. Cathy was predeceased by her cherished husband, Neal Raymond, and her son, Richard Raymond Allen. She also mourned the loss of her brother, Gus Allen, which left a void that was deeply felt by all who knew them.

The community is invited to honor Cathy's memory during visitation services at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home, located at 406 E Main St, Riverhead, NY 11901. The visitation will be held on August 25, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

Cathy's spirit will remain in the hearts of her family and all those privileged to have known her. Her gentle nature and dedication to family will always be remembered and cherished.
