Charles Fracapane, born on May 5, 1944, in New York, NY, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025.

As an Army Veteran of the Elite Green Beret’s, Charles served his country with honor and distinction, embodying the values of dedication and perseverance both in his military duties and his civilian life. His commitment to hard work and service extended beyond his professional endeavors and into his family life, where he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Charles dedicated his life to the art of construction, owning and operating his business, Bridlewood Construction. Charles was renowned for his exceptional skills and craftsmanship, earning the respect and admiration of clients and colleagues alike throughout his career.

Charles is survived by his loving children, Tabitha and Rusty Little, Nicole Fracapane, Meredith and Nicholas Hindle, Elizabeth Dunn, and David Fracapane. He also leaves behind 11 cherished grandchildren: Mia, Giovanna, Francesca, Amelia, Salvatore, Sophia, Cecilia, John, Angelina, Arwen, and Blaise, and one great-grandchild, Hayden. His legacy continues through them, as they carry forward the values he instilled in them and the memories made together. He is also survived by his beloved sisters and their spouses, Adelaide and Kirk Zintel, and Mary and Jack Lambert. Charles was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia Fracapane, and his parents, Salvatore and Adelaide Fracapane. The impact he had on those around him, both personally and professionally, will surely be remembered with fondness and gratitude.

Visitation services will be held on June 1, 2025, at the Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island, located at 640 Middle Country Rd, Middle Island, NY. The first visitation will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, followed by a second visitation from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A Mass in his honor will be held on June 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Saint Frances Cabrini RC Church, located at 134 Middle Country Rd, Coram, NY.

Charles Fracapane will be remembered as a man of integrity, kindness, and unwavering determination, who left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know him.
