Christa Erario

Christa Erario, a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished member of her family, passed away on December 23, 2025, in Deer Park, New York, at the age of 84. Born on July 5, 1941, in Berlin, Germany, Christa was a steadfast presence and an unwavering source of love for her family.

Christa graduated from high school and later enjoyed a fulfilling life dedicated to her family. She was admired not only for her strong spirit but also for her warm personality, which earned her the affection of all who knew her. As a grandmother, she took immense joy in her grandchildren, fostering a bond that will leave a lasting imprint on their lives.

She is survived by her three devoted children: Christine Erario, Donna Borowskii, and Michael Erario. Christa’s legacy will continue through her grandchildren, who brought her countless moments of happiness and pride.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 8:45 AM to 10:45 AM at Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY 11729. Following the visitation, a Mass will be celebrated in her honor at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, starting at 11:15 AM and concluding at 12:15 PM, at 125 Half Hollow Road, Deer Park, NY 11729.
