David M. Otero

David M. Otero, beloved Bakery Manager at Uncle Giuseppe's in Port Jefferson Station, passed away on October 18, 2023, at the age of 58. He was born in North Adams, MA on June 9, 1965.

David leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory forever. He is survived by his devoted wife, Zane Otero, and their two daughters, Aimee Otero and Angelina Otero. David had a close bond with his siblings: Thomas (Linda) Otero, William (Stacey) Otero, and Mary Ann (Larry) Cole. Their shared experiences created lasting memories that will be cherished by all.  In addition to his immediate family, David leaves behind his adorable granddaughter, Ava Lynn. He took immense joy in spending time with her and watching her grow.  David was predeceased by his parents Lois and Louis Otero as well as his sister Marissa Otero and his brother Michael Otero.

David will be remembered by his family and friends as a dedicated and hardworking individual who always went above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. As Bakery Manager, he brought joy to the local community through his delicious creations and warm personality.

A visitation will be held on October 24, 2023, at the Mangano Family Funeral Home Of Middle Island in Middle Island, NY. The first session of visitation will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, followed by an evening session from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A Prayer Service will be held during the evening session at 8:00 PM to honor David's memory.

Following the visitation services, a burial ceremony will take place on October 27th at Washington Memorial Park in Mount Sinai, NY. The ceremony will begin at 10:00 AM.

David M. Otero touched the hearts of many throughout his life. His determination and passion for his work were truly admirable. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.  Please join the family in celebrating David's life and offering support during this difficult time. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
