Deborah L. Murray

Deborah Murray, 64, of Bay Shore, NY, passed away peacefully on July 14th 2026, after battling a rare and aggressive form of T-cell lymphoma that unfortunately developed into Leptomeningeal Disease.

Born on December 27th 1961, at Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, Debbi spent her life doing what she loved most—caring for others. For 41 years, she was a dedicated hairstylist whose chair became so much more than a place for a haircut. Her clients became her extended family, and she never forgot a face or the stories that came with them. Her quick wit and bold sense of humor made everyone feel welcome. She was exceptionally talented at her craft, and the relationships she built over four decades were a testament to the kind of person she was.

Debbi had a remarkable gift for creating. Whether it was decorating, crafting, baking, cooking, or finding a way to bring an idea to life, all she needed was a little inspiration and a trip to Hobby Lobby. She loved tending to her garden, spending days at the beach, traveling, discovering new places, enjoying live music, and never missed an opportunity to dance. Her kitchen was always filled with the aroma of something delicious, and her Christmas cookies became a tradition loved by so many. During quieter moments, you could often find her in her craft room, happily making something special for someone else.

She was stubbornly independent and hardworking. Once Debbi set her mind to something, nothing stood in her way. Yet beneath that determination was a heart that put everyone else first. That selflessness is just one of the plenty reasons she was loved by so many.

Above all else, Debbi's greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was being a mother. Her daughter, Carliana, was the center of her world, and everything Debbi did was to give them both the best life possible. She was the kind of mom everyone wished they had—loving, supportive, funny, and effortlessly cool. Her love was constant, unconditional, and will remain with her daughter forever.

Debbi was also blessed with lifelong friendships. Her closest friends stood beside her throughout life's greatest joys and hardest moments, and their love and unwavering support remained with her until her final moments.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Carliana Biasi; her brother, Charles Murray Jr.; her sister-in-law, Cathy Murray; and her cherished nieces and nephew, Julianne, CJ, and Alyson. She also leaves behind countless dear friends and devoted clients who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

Debbi's legacy is one of a kind. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
