Delores Ann Hanlon

Delores Ann Hanlon, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025, in Middle Island, New York, at the age of 84. Born on March 27,1941, in Queens, New York, Delores exhibited a vibrant spirit and a zest for life that touched everyone around her.

Her role as a supportive wife and nurturing mother resonated deeply with those who knew her. She cherished her relationships, especially with her husband, Stanley Hanlon, who remained by her side throughout their years together. Delores was not only a devoted mother but also a proud grandmother. Her legacy continues through her loving daughter, Frances Hanlon, and her cherished granddaughter, Carina. Delores' son, Stanley Bryan Hanlon, whom she also adored, also holds the fondest memories of her warmth and kindness.

The visitation services for Delores will be held on May 19, 2025, at Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island, located at 640 Middle Country Rd, Middle Island, NY 11953, with two opportunities for family and friends to pay their respects: from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and again later that evening from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM.  A prayer service will be held that same evening, pending time. Delores' burial will take place on May 20, 2025, at Calverton National Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest.  Family and friends will be leaving the funeral home by 12pm to proceed to Calverton. 

Delores Ann Hanlon's legacy of love, devotion, and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will always be cherished by those she leaves behind.
