Dimitrios Pissanos

Dimitrios Pissanos, age 51, of Merrick, New York, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026. He was born on April 19, 1974, in Flushing, New York, to Peter and Francesca. Dimitri will be remembered for his larger than life personality, distinctive character and dedication to his family and children. 

His expertise in cars made him the go-to person for anyone needing assistance with their vehicles. Outside of work, Dimitri was a "man's man", a cool "down to earth" guy with a soft spot for animals and a deep affection for his family.

Dimitrios took immense pride in his role as a father. He is survived by his cherished children, Isabella and Dimitri Pissanos. In addition, he leaves behind his loving fiancée, Gina Negron. Dimitri is also survived by his brother Michael Pissanos and his wife Pamela, with whom he shared many fond memories. Together, they will carry forward his legacy of love and support.

In his leisure time, Dimitri had an adventurous spirit, an avid gamer who enjoying playing video games such as Fortnite which he enjoyed playing with his children. He was known as a "Quiet Supporter," always there for his friends and loved ones in times of need.
