Dolores C. Bailey

Dolores C. Bailey, a cherished and kind-hearted soul, passed away on April 25, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on November 4, 1931, in Carbondale, Pennsylvania to her parents Michael and Anna Lazar. She brought warmth, compassion, and an infectious spirit to everyone who was fortunate enough to cross her path.

Dolores dedicated much of her life to serving others as a Cafeteria Aide for the West Babylon School District. Her nurturing nature shone through in her role, where her kindness was felt by many, and her caring demeanor left an indelible mark in the community.

Dolores is survived by her loving family, including her beloved children, Robert T. and his wife Liona, Doreen A. and Carmine Tullo, and Michael A. and his wife Diane. She also leaves behind six adoring grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all of whom were a source of immense pride and joy in her life. Her legacy of love and support will continue to inspire them in the years to come.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on May 1, 2025, at the Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Park Ave. The first visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, followed by a second visitation from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A Mass celebrating Dolores's life will take place on May 2, 2025, at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, beginning at 10:15 AM.

As we remember Dolores, we are reminded of the countless ways she enriched the lives of those around her. Her kindness and caring spirit will forever remain in our hearts, and her extraordinary life will be celebrated by family and friends alike.
