Edeedson Cine, Jr.

July 29, 2002 — December 25, 2025

West Babylon, NY

Edeedson Ciné Jr. was born on July 29, 2002, at North Shore LIJ University Hospital in Manhasset, New York. He was the beloved son of his father, Mr. Edeedson Ciné Sr., and his mother, Mrs. Marie Rooseveline Ciné.

Eddy attended Parliament Place Elementary School and Robert Moses Middle School before continuing his education at North Babylon High School, where he earned his high school diploma in 2020.

Following his high school graduation, Eddy enrolled at Nassau Community College. Within a year, he transitioned to the Hunter Business School, where he pursued and completed the Computer Technician Program.

Eddy held positions with several employers, including Hunter Business School. Ultimately, he was employed as a Customer Service Clerk/Associate at a CVS store in Lindenhurst, New York. Tragically, on December 25, 2025, this promising young life was cut short as a result of a violent store robbery at his workplace.

Eddy is survived by his siblings: his brother, Jonathan S. Ciné, and his sisters, Edelyne Ciné and Faith R. Ciné. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Jacqueline Beaubrun; his paternal grandparents, Mr. Joseph Ciné and Mrs. Rose I. Ciné; and a large, loving extended family.

His maternal uncles include Jean-Marc Beaubrun, Marcsan Beaubrun, Roosevelt Beaubrun, and Jackson Beaubrun. His maternal aunts include Farah M. Beaubrun, Marjorie Beaubrun, Nadège Beaubrun, Romelle Beaubrun, and Cassandre Beaubrun. His paternal uncles include Didier Castan, Emmanuel Thélusma, and Eric St. Louis. His paternal aunts include Schebania Ciné, Whenshell Ciné Thélusma, Vanessa Ciné, and O’neilde St. Louis.

Eddy also leaves behind many cherished cousins, including Esther Pascale; Christopher, Gwendolyn, Jio, Lilly, and Nashon Castan; Marseen, Mildred, Marsha, Matthew, Isaac, and Ruth Beaubrun; Ashley, Samuel, and Jonah Joseph; Micah, Isabelle, and Stephanie Thélusma; Stephanie Cineus; Amais and Rose Ellise Alvarado; Mila and soon-to-be Theo Saint-Louis; along with numerous extended family members and close friends who loved him dearly.

Eddy had a passion for cooking, especially pasta and T-bone steak. While most people enjoyed eggs for breakfast, Eddy preferred to cook eggs after 11:00 p.m. as his favorite late-night meal. He also enjoyed baking for his family. He loved music of many genres, sang in both youth and children’s choirs, and played the drums. Eddy was fashionable and particular about his hairstyle, and he was known for his caring and loving spirit toward everyone he met.

Though his time on earth was brief, it was also rich with love, laughter, and kindness. Eddy Joshy Ciné Jr.'s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him long after today. Though we mourn his passing, we rejoice in the assurance that his life mattered, his love remains, and his memory rests safely in the hands of a faithful God. He will be dearly missed!!!
