Edmund Gerard Orlowski

Edmund Gerard Orlowski, born on June 22, 1959, in Riverhead, New York, passed away on April 30, 2025, in New York, New York. He was a respected engineer for Bayside High School, where he dedicated his professional life to fostering a productive and inspiring environment for students.

Edmund was beloved by his family, who hold his memory dear. He is survived by his sisters: Mary Orlowski and his niece, Alexa Oddone, as well as his sisters Kathleen McGee (nephews Christopher and Matthew), Sharon Orlowski, Sheila Orlowski, and Rosaire Orlowski. His family cherishes the moments spent together. Edmund reunites with his parents, Edmund and Mary Orlowski, as well as his sister, Regina Orlowski, who have predeceased him.

A memorial gathering to honor Edmund’s life will take place on Friday, May 9, 2025. Friends and family are invited to Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY 11729. The gathering will start at 2:00 PM and conclude at 4:30 PM. Another session will occur later that evening from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A memorial mass will be held at Ss. Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 10:15 AM.

Edmund Gerard Orlowski’s legacy will endure through the lives he touched, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
