Elizabeth M. Keller

September 10, 1937 — February 28, 2024

Deer Park, New York

Elizabeth M. Keller, born on September 10, 1937, in Bronx, New York, passed away on February 28, 2024. She was a compassionate individual known for her kindness and unwavering love for her family. Elizabeth leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

In her early years, Elizabeth earned her high school diploma from Walton High School in the Bronx and then worked as a stenographer for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in New York City before moving out to their newly built house in the suburbs (Deer Park) with her husband Nick who worked at Floyd Bennett Field air force base in Brooklyn. They were lucky enough to have Liz's brother, Jack, his wife Marlene, and their children building their house right next door. Liz and Nick enjoyed caring for Jack and Marlene's children Susie, Jacky, Michael and Helene. When having their own family four years later, the cousin's had the opportunity to grow up close and share many fond family memories. They were also close with the wonderful Deer Park neighbors who lived on their block.

Elizabeth has now reunited in peace with her beloved husband, the late Nicholas Keller, as well as her father Jacob (Dautner) and mother Elizabeth (Remy) as well as her brother, Jack, sister-in-law, Marlene and niece Susie. Although they have departed, their memories will forever live on in the hearts of those who mourn their loss.

Elizabeth is survived by her loving children; oldest daughter, Christine Keller and her husband Craig Saperstein, as well as their children Sage and Samaya, her middle daughter, Kim Keller, and youngest son, Nicholas Keller, his children Nikki-Marie, Chris and Jake, and their mother Nancy Keller. She is also survived by her great-grandchild; Michael. Her family brought immense joy and pride to her life.
