Elvira DeVivo, born on April 14, 1934, passed away on July 23, 2026, surrounded by the warmth of her family's love. Elvira's life was defined by kindness, caring, and an unwavering devotion to those she cherished. She brought light into every room and touched the hearts of all fortunate enough to know her.

Elvira was the proud mother of three children: Denise DeVivo, Joanne DiNapoli, and Jim DeVivo. Her legacy continues through her six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, each of whom she deeply adored and nurtured with her gentle spirit and wisdom.

Throughout her life, Elvira embodied the essence of love and compassion. She was the anchor and guiding light of her family, always placing their needs before her own and finding joy in their happiness and accomplishments. Whether through her daily acts of kindness or her words of encouragement, Elvira shaped a legacy of generosity, understanding, and steadfast support.

The community is invited to honor Elvira's memory through a series of services to be held on July 31, 2026. Visitation will take place from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home, 1701 Deer Pk Ave, Deer Park, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:15 AM at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, 125 Half Hollow Rd., Deer Park, NY. Elvira will be laid to rest at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Boulevard, Calverton, NY 11933-1031.
