Filippina Valenti

Filippina Valenti, a beloved member of the Deer Park community, passed away on November 4, 2023. She was born on August 18, 1932, in Italy to her loving parents Giuseppe and Giuseppina Condoleo. 

Filippina was a devoted mother and grandmother. She leaves behind her sons Joseph (Carol) Valenti and Rosario Valenti, and two cherished grandchildren, Rachel and Michael. Family meant everything to Filippina, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Her warmth, love, and guidance will forever resonate in their hearts.

Filippina dedicated her career to seamstress work for a swimsuit manufacturing company in Deer Park. Her skillful craftsmanship and attention to detail contributed to the success of the company and left a lasting impact on the industry. Her passion for her work was evident in every stitch she made, and her contributions will be remembered by her colleagues and customers alike.

Filippina was known for her kind heart and selflessness. She always showed compassion and generosity towards others, making an effort to uplift those around her. Her presence brought comfort to many, and she was a source of strength during trying times.

Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation services in memory of Filippina Valenti at the Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Pk Ave in Deer Park on November 8th, 2023. The visitation hours will be from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM followed by another visitation session from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A Mass will be held on November 9th, 2023, at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church situated at 125 Half Hollow Rd., Deer Park. The Mass will commence at 9:15 AM with an end time at 10:15 AM, allowing all who knew and loved Filippina to gather together and offer their final farewells.

Filippina Valenti will forever be remembered for her unwavering love, strength, and compassion. She touched the lives of many through her work, her friendships, and her family. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
