Flora R. Saitta

With heavy hearts and loving memories, we announce the passing of Flora R. Saitta, who left this world on July 25, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on June 4, 1933, in the Bronx, New York, Flora’s life was a testament to resilience, care, and deep affection for those blessed to know her. Those who encountered Flora were touched by her warmth, her gentle kindness, and her unwavering support for friends and family.

Flora is known for her compassion, transparency, and unwavering family bonds. Flora was married to her late husband for 59 beautiful years. She was a strong, loving and dedicated caregiver to her husband. Flora brought the generations of her family together through her cherished stories and unconditional loved. Flora, beloved wife, devoted mother to Frank (Donna), cherished grandmother to Justin. Flora was the best dog grandma to her fur-grandchild. Flora found herself as a cat lover and spend a lot of time doing different puzzles and brain games.

Family and friends are invited to honor and remember her at visitation services on July 29, 2026, held at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home, 1701 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, New York, from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm and again from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. A Mass will be celebrated on July 30, 2026, at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church, 125 Half Hollow Rd, Deer Park, New York. Following the Mass, Flora will be laid to rest at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, New York.

As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the enduring legacy she leaves behind.  May she rest in gentle peace, forever remembered and always loved.
