Frances Lucille Costanzo

In Loving Memory of Frances Costanzo January 16, 1932 – November 1, 2026

Frances Costanzo (née Mistretta), affectionately known as Fran, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2026, in Scottsdale, Arizona, at the age of 94.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Fran spent most of her life on Long Island. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love for her family was at the heart of her life. Fran also worked for many years as administrative support for the director of the Pupil Personnel Department of Half Hollow Hills School District.

Fran was predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years, Nicholas Costanzo, and her four sisters; Angela Alicia, Josephine Oliva, Catherine Richards, and Antoinette Voltaggio.

She is survived by her four children, Louise McCagg (Todd), Catherine Costanzo, John Costanzo (Tracey), and Marie Stevens (Bill), as well as five grandchildren; William, Nicholas, Michael, Krystina and Catherine. She is also survived by her six great-grandchildren; Sonny, Mugsy, Isabella, Francesca, Sicilia and William. Her memory will be cherished by the family she loved so dearly.

A viewing will be held at Mangano Funeral Home, 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, New York, on Friday, November 13, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a prayer service being held at 12:00 PM. A burial will follow immediately after at Calverton National Cemetery.
