Francis E. Beisner, Jr.

Francis “Ed” Beisner passed away peacefully at his home on July 11th, surrounded by his loving family . Ed was born May 8th, 1925 in the Bronx , served in the Navy during World War ll and married the love of his life, Dolores in 1950. Ed attended Stevens Institute as part of the GI Bill and upon graduation went to work for LILCO, where he spent his entire 36 year career as an engineer.

Once Ed and Dolores married they moved to Long Island where they spent the last 76 years, raising their 6 children, Mary Ellen , Edward ( Mary ann), Thomas ( Regina) , John (Elizabeth), Patricia ( David) and Daniel ( Jeaneen). We greatly appreciate the care given by his wonderful aide, Lorna, during this past year. In addition Ed had 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, all who will miss him dearly.
