Frank V. Agoglia, a retired N.Y.C. Police Department Detective and a proud World War II veteran, passed away on May 6, 2025, at the age of 101. Born in Brooklyn, New York, on December 2, 1923, Frank was the cherished son of the Late Vincenzo and the Late Rose Agoglia.
Throughout his distinguished career in law enforcement, Frank exhibited unwavering commitment and courage, earning respect among colleagues and the community alike. His dedication to keeping the streets of New York safe underscored his deep sense of duty and honor.
Frank is lovingly remembered by his family, including his daughter Barbara and her late husband Ralph Russo, Judy Agoglia, Susan and her husband Dominick Pombano, and Thomas and his wife Lisa Agoglia. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mangano Family Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1701 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729. A Mass will be celebrated in his honor on May 10, 2025, at 9:15 AM at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, 125 Half Hollow Rd., Deer Park, NY 11729.
Frank V. Agoglia's legacy of service and love will continue to inspire those who knew him, reminding all of the values of bravery, compassion, and familial bonds that he embodied throughout his remarkable life.
