Frank E. Pallotta, 77

Frank E. Pallotta, age 77, of North Babylon, passed away on April 27, 2026, after a courageous two-year battle with cancer. He fought with remarkable resilience, strength, and determination, never losing his spirit throughout his journey. To those who knew him best, Frank became affectionately known as “Superman” for his unwavering will to keep going and his refusal to give up.

Frank lived a life defined by dedication, hard work, and love for his family. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He went on to work for 25 years at Nabisco, and later spent 15 years with the North Babylon School District, where he was respected for his commitment and reliability.

Frank was an avid and accomplished bowler, achieving numerous 300 games over the course of his life—a reflection of his skill and passion for the sport. Outside of bowling, he enjoyed the excitement of slot machines, the timeless sound of 1950s music, and cheering for his favorite sports teams. He was a loyal fan of the New York Mets, New York Jets, and New York Rangers. Frank also enjoyed relaxing with a glass of red wine.

Frank’s beloved dog, Bella, held a special place in his heart. She was a constant companion who loved to sit with him and watch all of his favorite games, bringing him comfort and joy.

He also found happiness in life’s simple pleasures, including tending to his garden filled with herbs and flowers and spending time at the beach enjoying the sun.

Above all, Frank was devoted to his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra; his daughter, Karen Reale and her husband, Joe Reale; his son, Frank Pallotta Jr. and his wife, Malaithip Pallotta; and his cherished grandchildren, Jillian, Joey, Alexa, Maialena, and Lailana, who lovingly called him “Poppy.” He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather whose strength, humor, and presence will be deeply missed.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 PM and 7:00–9:00 PM at Mangano Family Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:15 AM at St. Cyril & Methodius Roman Catholic Church. Frank will be laid to rest at St. Charles Cemetery.

Frank’s legacy is one of courage, loyalty, and unconditional love. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
