Frederick W. Meisenzahl

Frederick W. Meisenzahl, a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away on September 24, 2025, in Middle Island, NY, at the age of 78. Born on October 28, 1946, in New York, NY, Frederick lived a life marked by dedication, hard work, and profound love for his family.

Fred served his country honorably as a veteran of the Air Force. Following his military service, he embarked on a career as a foreman for National Grid, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

Fred's legacy is further enriched by his role as a devoted family man. He cherished the 58 years of marriage he shared with his loving wife, Joann. Together, they built a beautiful life and were blessed with two sons, Bill (his girlfriend Christine) and Rob, (his wife Cher). Fred took great joy in his role as a grandfather to his four grandchildren: Steven, Kaeleigh, Emily, and Sarah, all of whom he adored deeply.  He was a devoted brother to his sister, Joanne Lehn, and her husband Dan.  Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Josephine Meisenzahl.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island, located at 640 Middle Country Rd, Middle Island, NY, on September 28, 2025. The visitation will begin at 2:00 PM and will continue until 4:30 PM. A second visitation session will commence at 7:00 PM, concluding at 9:30 PM.

Frederick W. Meisenzahl leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and commitment, which will be cherished and remembered by all who had the privilege to know him. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
