George was the beloved husband of Roberta Grassman. Together, they built a life centered on love, mutual respect, and laughter. His commitment to family extended to his cherished grandchildren, Jamie and Natalie, and his loving niece Lynn Cavalcanti (Louis), whose lives were deeply enriched by his care, encouragement, and unwavering presence. George’s relationships were further blessed by the enduring bonds with his sisters, Ethel and MaryAnn.

George was predeceased by his loving parents, Edward Grassman and Natalie Hofstadt, whose influence remained with him throughout his life. Their memory was honored by George's character and the values he passed on to his own family.
