Geraldine A. Evans, a remarkable woman whose life was marked by resilience, generosity, and an unwavering spirit, passed away on May 1, 2026. Born on March 9, 1958, Geraldine dedicated herself to the many roles she embraced throughout her life with grace and determination.
Geraldine was known to those who loved her as a fighter and a superwoman — a testament to her strength and unyielding character. Her vibrant personality shone through in her love of shopping and spending freely, a passion that brought her joy and a sense of freedom. Yet beyond this joyful indulgence lay a deeply selfless heart, always putting the needs of others before her own and reaching out with kindness and love.
Her academic achievements included earning a Masters Degree, a reflection of her dedication to personal growth and lifelong learning. Geraldine’s educational pursuits were a source of pride and a foundation that supported her throughout her life’s journey.
She was born to Carmine and Mildred, both of whom preceded her in death. Their legacy and memories undoubtedly helped shape the woman Geraldine became.
Geraldine is survived by her beloved family who carry forward her spirit: her daughter Stephanie and her husband Adam, her son Nicholas, and her cherished grandchildren Daniela, Nicolette, and Robert Jaimson. Their lives remain filled with the love, strength, and inspiration she so deeply instilled in them.
Visitation services to honor Geraldine A. Evans will be held on May 5, 2026, at the Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Pk Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729. There will be two visitation periods on that day: one from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and another from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. These gatherings offer a space for family, friends, and community members to come together in remembrance of a remarkable woman whose impact was profound and lasting.
A funeral mass will be held the following day on May 6, 2026 at 11:15 AM at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, 125 Half Hollow Road, Deer Park, NY 11729.
Geraldine’s journey through life, marked by love, courage, and an indomitable will, leaves a lasting imprint on all who knew her. Her memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to share in her story.
