Harold Heitmuller, of West Babylon, New York, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on July 18, 1950, in New York, NY, to parents Harold and June, Harold lived a full and meaningful life marked by kindness, dignity, and devotion to those he cared about.
Those who knew Harold valued his unwavering character, his willingness to help others, and the warmth he brought into every relationship. Harold was a veteran of the US Air Force, exemplifying his courage, and his career as a US Postal service worker for many years shows further this duty to serve his community.
Harold is survived by his devoted wife, Veronica Kabacinski, his beloved sons, Harold J. and Richard L. Heitmuller, his 7 grandchildren, and sisters April and Lorretta.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation to be held at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Pk Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729, on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 11:15 AM at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, 125 Half Hollow Rd., Deer Park, NY 11729. Following the Mass, Harold will be laid to rest at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd., Calverton, NY 11933.
May Harold Heitmuller be remembered with gratitude for his contributions, the life he led, and the love he gave.
