Joan E. Caggiano

Joan E. Caggiano, a cherished member of her family and community, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026, at the age of 97. Born on October 21, 1928, in New York, New York to her parents Charles and Mary Thoret. Joan was known for her kind and caring demeanor, which touched the lives of all who knew her.

Throughout her life, Joan dedicated herself to her career as a secretary, where her strong work ethic and attention to detail shone through. Her contributions in this role were appreciated by colleagues and employers alike. Joan's education, culminating in a high school diploma, laid the foundation for her professional journey and lifelong learning.

Joan is survived by her beloved daughter, Barbara, and son-in-law Joe Caggiano, who will forever hold dear the memories of her warmth and love. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Raymond Caggiano (2024), whose memory she cherished throughout her life, as well as her parents, Charles and Mary, who instilled in her the values that shaped her character and her approach to life.

Joan E. Caggiano leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion, evident in the relationships she nurtured throughout her life. She will be remembered with great affection, missed by those fortunate enough to have known her.
