Joann Breun

Joann Breun, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on January 5, 2026, surrounded by the warmth of love and memories. She was born on September 18, 1954, in Brooklyn, NY, where she began a life that would be marked by her kindness and care for those around her.

Joann dedicated her life to her family, raising two daughters, Christina and Diana, who remember her as a guiding light, nurturing their dreams and supporting them unconditionally. Her love extended to her siblings, Anthony and Barbara, with whom she shared a bond that further enriched her life.

Joann's personality shined through her unwavering dedication to being kind and caring, qualities that endeared her to friends and family alike. She possessed a unique ability to connect with people, making them feel valued and loved.

In honor of Joann's life, visitation services will be held on January 9, 2026, at the Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, and again that evening from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on January 10, 2026, at Saint Joseph R.C.C, located at 39 N. Carll Ave, Babylon, NY, beginning at 10:15 AM.

Joann is preceded in death by her husband, the late Harold Breun, whose memory she cherished deeply. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and compassion that will forever resonate within the hearts of those who were privileged to know her. She will be profoundly missed but lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
