Joe Tobia

Joe Tobia, a proud New York State Park Police Officer and a loving husband and father, passed away on August 14, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on April 28, 1955, in New York to his parents John and Sarafina Tobia. Joe exemplified commitment not only in his profession but also in the loving relationships he fostered throughout his life.

For over 35 years, Joe was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Roseanna Tobia. He cherished his family, taking great pride in being a father to his children, Lisa Tobia and Anthony Tobia. His warm and caring personality left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Joe’s dedication as a police officer mirrored the same devotion he showed to his family, working tirelessly to protect others while providing unwavering support to those he loved.

A visitation for Joe will take place on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Mangano Family Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1701 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY. The visitation will occur from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, with an additional session later that evening from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor and celebrate his life. A Mass in memory of Joe will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, located at 125 Half Hollow Rd., Deer Park, NY, at 10:15 AM. Family and friends who wish to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home at 9:15 AM.

In this time of mourning, those he leaves behind will forever treasure the memories of his gentle strength, kindness, and unwavering love. Joe Tobia’s legacy will live on through his family and the countless lives he touched during his lifetime.
